Overview:

This course aims at developing and refining your oral skills in English. This is a student-oriented class and your active participation is essential for your learning. The two-hour meeting on Monday will be dedicated to reading of short articles for discussion, lecturing, discussion in pairs, and impromptu speeches based on the discussion. The one-hour meeting on Thursday is your performance. Each of you will need to give a ten-minute prepared speech of any chosen topic, do voiceover (with a partner) for a twenty-minute video clip, and participate in a short play performance.
